Bio
Dr. Jason Reed is a skilled and compassionate veterinary surgeon with over 12 years of hands-on experience in advanced orthopedic procedures and soft tissue surgery. He holds a veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania and completed his surgical residency at the Animal Medical Center in New York. Dr. Reed is deeply committed to restoring mobility and improving the quality of life for pets suffering from injuries or chronic conditions.
Known for his calm presence in the operating room and his clear communication with pet owners, Dr. Reed combines technical excellence with a deep understanding of animal behavior and recovery needs. He collaborates closely with our rehab team to ensure seamless post-op care and long-term success for each patient.
Experience
Dr. Reed has successfully performed over 1,000 orthopedic procedures, ranging from ACL repairs to spinal surgeries. He formerly served as Lead Orthopedic Specialist at Midtown Animal Surgery Center (2014–2021) and has trained new surgeons in minimally invasive techniques. He currently oversees surgical care and leads our surgical quality assurance program.
